Qingdao Siprun Water Treatment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Siprun) was established in 2006. It is a national high-tech enterprise that provides full process water pollution control services with moving bed biofilm technology (MBBR) as its core. The registered capital exceeds 117 million yuan. Since 2016, high-quality capital such as Shanghai Fosun, Shanxi Taigang, Shaanxi Airlines, and Qingsong Capital have invested and become important shareholders of Siprun, opening up a "technology+capital" dual engine development model to help the enterprise develop rapidly.
Siprun has developed a moving bed biofilm technology (MBBR) as its core, which includes a biofilm rapid clean bed (BioFIMag) ®)、 Anaerobic Ammonia Oxidation (Nauto) ®)、 Multiple process packages including super efficient separation, advanced oxidation (HYRASAOR), and integrated equipment (SPRINTAGE) are developed and operated as a smart water cloud platform and artificial intelligence system, mainly serving municipal, industrial, town and village wastewater treatment, gradually extending to municipal water supply pretreatment, river and black and odorous water treatment and other fields. We provide customized services to solve the problems faced by customers, such as the construction of sewage treatment facilities, in-situ upgrading and expansion, emergency treatment of sewage interception, denitrification of slightly polluted water, failure to meet the standards of river section assessment, and difficulty in separating integrated equipment, forming a solution with Siprun characteristics.
As of the end of 2021, Siprun has implemented the construction and upgrading of water pollution control facilities with a performance of over 16 million tons/day. In addition, more than 600 sets of Siprun integrated equipment have been implemented to serve point source pollution control. Its performance covers 30 provincial-level administrative units in China, and its market share in the MBBR segment is far ahead. In 2019 and 2021, two MBBR related technologies of Siprun were identified as "internationally leading" by the expert group of academicians from the Science and Technology and Industrialization Development Center of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development.
Siprun is a "National Intellectual Property Advantage Enterprise", "Environmental Protection Equipment Manufacturing Industry (Sewage Treatment) Standardized Condition Enterprise", "Specialized, Refined, Unique and New" Small Giant Enterprise "," Shandong Specialized, Refined, Unique and New Small and Medium sized Enterprise "," Shandong Gazelle Enterprise ", and has been approved to establish research and development platforms such as" Qingdao Enterprise Technology Center "," Qingdao Technology Innovation Center "," Qingdao Engineering Research Center "," Qingdao MBBR Self supporting Denitrification Process Expert Workstation ". As of the end of 2021, Siprun has obtained 82 authorized patents, including 23 invention patents, 58 utility models, 1 design, and 8 software copyrights. It has also undertaken multiple national "863" projects, national 12th and 13th Five Year Water Special Projects, leading the development of MBBR and related integrated technologies. Siprun MBBR and related technologies have been included in the national and provincial environmental protection technology/product recommendation catalog, and have been appraised by industry academicians and well-known experts. They have been recognized by top experts, including Professor Hallva Oudege of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, the inventor of the MBBR process.
Looking towards the future, Siprun is committed to building green and low-carbon sewage treatment plants, achieving energy conservation, consumption reduction and functional transformation, synchronizing the sewage treatment process and energy recovery process, achieving "near zero consumption input" in sewage treatment, and actively responding to the landing and implementation of sewage resource utilization and carbon neutrality goals.
